What I can humbly say are my strengths:
— Naturally evaluate an environment or situation and understand the core concerns to then ask questions that can get to deeper issues and create solutions
— Diplomatic and respectful in problem solving, knowing that not everyone has a design approach
— Build bridges to connect marketing/brand design, business-oriented approaches and CEO mindsets so that we all understand strategic and profitable ways forward
— Inclined to lead by example and great at teaching all levels / different professions so everyone feels heard and appropriately involved
— True empathy for user needs but clearly understanding business goals for a company’s enduring lifespan
What does 16 years of Product Design look like?
-
Introducing Agile: Co-created agile process in a business that was accustomed to having the marketing or e-commerce team run most / all initiatives without having the user in mind
Smart & Strategic Hiring: Internalised a UX Design Team saving the company time and money on a London Digital Agency that they have used for 6+ years
AI-Powered User Research: Established a functioning / effective User Research process for both B2C and B2B products. Before joining, there was little to no Research done and our company did not know who our customers truly are
Cross Functional: Lead workshops with C level stakeholders and involved various departments when necessary (to name a few: Marketing, Business Insight, Brand Identity and Customer Service)
Industry Standards: Helped bring accounts to a 70 year old holiday home rental company (Interhome)
-
Support product decisions by analysing qualitative and quantitative research insights and help to discover opportunities to improve our product experience
Validate new feature design via user research, usability testing and analysed data in order to improve

After university, it was important for me to explore different areas of graphic design even though my passions were in Branding and Product Design. I began working for a big name advertising agency where I did Branding and Product Design for brands such as Sony, Kikkoman and Oreo. From there, I did freelance work for a number of years working mainly within Product Design but also explored editorial, marketing, book design and various other types.
